CPD Seminar on Interiors

fischer fixings has joined with six other leading players in the office interiors sector to hold a series of open Continuing Professional Development seminars for architects and specifiers.

The theme of the seminars is the role good internal architecture should play in developing a productive office environment. The companies involved in the seminars will therefore cover all aspects of office interiors in their individual sessions, including glazing, floorcoverings, partitioning, health & safety and acoustics.

The seminars are being held at Workspace London, 14 Bonhill Street, London, where office roomsets and product samples will be on display. Breakfast (8.30am for 9am) and lunchtime (12.30pm for 1pm) sessions are available and participants will be offered a complimentary breakfast or lunch as applicable.

All participants will also receive a CPD certificate, indicating the hours of training undertaken. The seminars are free to bona fide participants.

The dates are July 3 and October 2.

• Lifestyle Partitions and Furniture -- performance, aesthetic and budget  issues;
• Komfort Workspace – architectural glass for the office environment;
• Armstrong – legislative initiatives to create a better learning environment;
• fischer fixings - undercut glass anchoring technology for aesthetic internal glass partitioning and for rainscreen cladding solutions;
• London Wall – movable acoustic walls and sliding partitions;
• Abstracta – the modern meeting room: wall furniture and how to specify correct AV equipment.
