It doesn’t have to be on the scale of Peter van der Toorn Vrijthoff’s Wisley Glasshouse but architects, designers and builders specializing in glass structures should enter the Glassex 2008 Conservatory Design Competition, run in conjunction with ConservatoriesOnline. The competition aims to showcase the best in glass design and incorporates a wide range of categories including conservatories, orangeries and glass extensions in both domestic and commercial sectors.

The Conservatory Design Competition forms part of the Glassex  exhibition, which with its sister show, Glass Processing and Technology, showcases the latest in glass and fenestration technology. Both exhibitions run from 8-10 April 2008 at the NEC, Birmingham.
