FAAC launches first UK hybrid underground swing gate operator

Combining the aesthetic appeal of a concealed operator with the latest energy saving technology, the first hybrid underground swing gate operator to be available in the UK has been introduced by FAAC (UK). The S700 underground swing gate system combines hydraulic technology with an energy efficient 24 volt motor to offer end users power savings of up to 45% when compared to conventional 230 volt hydraulic operators. Developed in response to demand from installers and end users, the S700 features a new, patented hydraulic pump developed by FAAC specifically for use with a 24V motor. It can be specified with or without hydraulic locking and with the option of opening to 1,100 or 1,800 depending on the location.
