Weyerhaeuser has delivered its first shipment of Lyptus lumber to Ireland, making stock of the sustainable hardwood range readily available on the ground. Offering good machining and turning properties, Lyptus is easy to work with and can accept a variety of finishes. The timber is exceptionally straight, dimensionally stable and a careful manual pruning regime means there are few knots in the finished product. These attributes make the wood suitable for applications such as interior joinery, shop fitting and refurbishment, as well as cabinet making.
