Blumsom achieves approved stockist status for Weyerhaeuser's Lyptus

Blumsom is the first UK timber distributor to achieve approved stockist status for Weyerhaeuser's Lyptus, a sustainable hardwood range. Blumsom added the FAS 5/4 thick Lyptus to its product portfolio last year, after seeking a stable and cost effective timber from which to produce door lipping and vision panel moulds. As an approved Lyptus stockist, Blumsom will now be offering the full range of thicknesses - 4/4 through 8/4 - enabling the diversification of use to include applications such as general joinery. Lyptus also helps satisfy environmental policies, particularly with PEFC certification and COC at the Brazilian timber mill which was fully implemented at the end of 2007
