Solarcentury's CompleteSolarRoof system is being used, along with other sustainable technologies, at NU@D2, a groundbreaking new development from Barratt homes in Upton, Northampton. The 165-home development combines renewable technologies with sustainable design, and unique landscaping to provide a sustainable way of life. These ecologically sound features have been enough to secure NU@D2 the highest possible rating - an Eco Excellent rating with the EcoHomes Standard. The CompleteSolarRoof consists of Solarcentury's C21e solar photovoltaic panels for electricity generation, and the company's C21t solar thermal tiles for water heating. Both tiles are integrated, replicating the appearance of traditional roof tiles and providing ease of installation for the roofer.
