Rapidry flooring from Ardex UK

ARDEX UK worked in partnership with DPC Screeding of Newcastle to assist with a vast 20,000m2 flooring refurbishment project at MetroCentre, Gateshead. The solution was to use ARDEX A 35 Rapid Drying Cement for Floor Screeds. Implementing an overnight installation programme, over 200 tonnes of ARDEX A 35 was applied throughout the walkways to provide a sub-floor that would deliver a strong, flat and level surface. Due to the built-in ARDEX Rapidry Formula Technology, the ARDEX A 35 screed surface was hard enough to be walked on only three hours after application and had dried to enable further work after just 24 hours
