Rigidal Systems has introduced a 91mm version of their unique Thermohalter for use with the Ziplok standing seam profile.
The new Thermohalter is constructed entirely from a resin-based material originally developed for the space industry, and has a thermal transmission of virtually zero. The new Thermohalter can be used with either a standard liner or in conjunction with Rigidal’s Corogrid bar and bracket system to provide a zip-up standing seam roofing system that meets or exceeds all current regulations.
In addition, the new Thermohalter has an improved uplift performance compared with standard halters, and its exceptional thermal efficiency allows the system height to be reduced, so improving the aesthetics of the roof construction. The absence of any metallic elements in the halter eliminates any possibility of electrolytic corrosion with fasteners, purlins or liners, and makes the Thermohalter itself totally corrosion resistant.
Thermohalter is compatible with all Ziplok metals, including aluminium, steel, copper and zinc, and by eliminating the need for thermal pads makes for quicker and easier laying of the roof system, so reducing overall construction costs.
