Bauder’s single ply roofing systems are the ultimate choice for lightweight, fast track and cost effective waterproofing.
The Flexible Polyolefin (FPO) or more traditional PVC membranes suit all dimensions, sizes and shapes of roof and are installed with hot air welding techniques that provide a safe and convenient flame-free installation.
The Bauder single ply waterproofing systems provide everything required to produce a superior flat roof, first time. We’ve developed a comprehensive range of fully compatible accessories to enable a secure fix to the full range of details found on a roof, from rooflights to preformed corners, lightning conductors, rainwater outlets and soil vent pipes.
Thermoplan T
Thermoplan T is a Flexible Polyolefin (FPO) membrane. This alloy comprises thermoplastic polypropylene (PP) and rubber (EPDM) and is especially designed to emphasise the key characteristics of the constituents to make it an exceptional waterproofing layer.
Thermoplan T is 100% recyclable and is free from any plasticisers, halogens or heavy metals making it environmentally sound. The system has been specially designed so that all production waste is returned to the manufacturing process.
Thermoplan T is simple to install using either mechanically fixed or fully adhered systems.
Thermofol
The Thermofol PVC membrane is reinforced with a pre-coated polyester cross-weave to provide a strong, durable and versatile solution that is ideal for any roofing project. The callendering and laminating process allows the pre-coated polyester reinforcement to be incorporated into the centre of the membrane, ensuring supreme strength and durability.
The Thermofol PVC membrane has been designed to reduce UV damage as the light grey surface colour is highly solar reflective. Thermofol U has superb tear resistance and tensile strength.
Both single ply systems use hot air to weld the seams coupled with either mechanical fastenings or adhesive bonding to ensure a flame-free working environment, which is important for on site safety.
