Sizing Guide

Select heating level required
A 160 w/m²      B 130 w/m²    C 100 w/m²

Calculate the total useable room floor area with allowance to avoid fixed furniture such as kitchen units and bathroom sanitary fitments.

Select the nearest size kit below useable area. Example: background heating to a free floor area of 8.0m² Type 10750 (7.5m²) – 750 Watts.

The kit can be installed to give outputs of:

A  160 W/m² for optimum heating output

B  130 W/m² for comfort heating

C  100 W/m² for background heating (recommended for laying under timber floors)

Have a fully qualified electrician check final resistances and make sure wire has not been damaged by covering the floor finish.

Make a note of final readings and store them in a safe place adjacent to the distribution board.

The ECOFLOOR™ cable is covered by a 10-year manufacturers warranty provided that it has been installed strictly in accordance with installation instructions and all necessary electrical regulations. The thermostat is covered by a 1-year manufactures warranty.

Care should be taken not to thermally block any part of the heated floor as this could result in localised overheating and possible damage to the surface.
