New Securistyle Cylinder Guard guards against burglars

A new euro profile cylinder guard from Securistyle offers increased security against burglars when fitted to PVCu, timber and composite doors.

This economical and practical component protects the cylinder from an attempted break in, where burglars forcibly snap the cylinder and manipulate the lock to gain entry.

The patented design features a unique clamping solution, which can help specifiers and housing providers meet the revised requirements of PAS 24: 2007. The cylinder guard fits the majority of euro cylinders and can be used in conjunction with all standard Securistyle lever door handle sets.

The easy to fit cylinder guard can be retro-fitted to allow the low cost upgrade of existing locks, resulting in increased security for the home.
