Stannah install passenger lift for high street retailer Jigsaw

Part of the Old Post Office in Bath has been transformed by high-street retailer Jigsaw into a beautiful first-floor shopping experience. The store has the original ground floor entrance to the post office which now features a centrally placed Stannah passenger lift to ensure easy access for everyone. The glass-shafted structure supported FX lift and decorative stair balustrades are finished in a matching soft grey that ensures the lift structure remains sympathetic to its surroundings. The Old Post Office has been superbly converted, retaining all the Georgian building’s original features. The interior design within the Jigsaw store is unique to its location. The spacious, decadent shopping floor has an imaginative layout with frequent references to its origins, like the huge round rugs featuring old ‘penny’ designs that decorate the vast wooden floor.
