Panaloc is in a buoyant mood

Anyone concerned about the green credentials of Manchester-based off-site construction and MMC specialist Panaloc should think again. The company is currently importing a sustainable and renewable source of wood-based material, OSB4 (orientated strand board) using a piece of Manchester's industrial and ancestral heritage - the Manchester Ship Canal. More importantly, this form of transportation removes the equivalent of 160 truckloads from the road. Indeed when the 3,130 tonne, 89.4m long cargo carrying M/V Neptun docked at Panaloc's 35,000ft2 wharfside warehouse, it was one of the first times the Manchester Ship Canal had witnessed such activity of this kind in over 25 years.
