Hunter Douglas' Luxalon ceiling systems at ExCeL

Hunter Douglas met one of its biggest challenges at the international conference centre ExCeL. The diverse demands of ceilings in the venue were met by 20,000m2 of Hunter Douglas' Luxalon ceiling systems. An Open Cell type 50E system proved suitable for the high level main concourse and retail units, while the cafe areas are fitted with an Open Cell Type T-15 ceiling. Both systems combine the benefits of a standard T-grid system with the advantages of the open cell product range. To reduce noise in the open areas, the panels have a standard perforation and a non-woven acoustic tissue bonded to the inside face that provides a high level of sound absorption
