Refurbishment guide from EPIC

EPIC (Engineered Panels in Construction) has produced a downloadable guidance document dedicated to the requirements of ADL2B (England and Wales), Section 6 (Scotland) and Part F (Northern Ireland), and the use of insulated panel systems to comply. Existing building stock is still a major source of energy consumption, and we have to deal with that issue if we are to have any serious impact on CO2 emissions. Simply replacing elements such as single skin or poorly insulated roofs or walls with insulated panels can lead to dramatic reductions in energy consumption, meeting the regulations and providing a clear payback as well as a more comfortable, aesthetically pleasing, durable and sustainable environment. In line with sustainable practice and to ensure that information is easily updated, the EPIC guide is in electronic format only, available to download from the EPIC website
