Building Supplies R Us has launched a new extension to its service

Building Supplies R Us (BSRUS) has launched a new extension to its service with a van-based, on site, online facility for customers. The company's brand new fleet of vans will be travelling the length and breadth of the UK, visiting building and construction sites. BSRUS says the fleet will increase rapidly in first half of 2008 with an initial target of 80 vans. Frank Kelly, managing director of BSRUS, said: "We believe this new service is the first of its kind for the UK as we are taking the builders' merchant out to the customer, rather than the other way around. This keeps the job moving to benefit the main contractor, the sub contractors involved and the client"
